Small on purpose.
We’re a boutique brokerage by design — a short client list, senior agents on every deal, and the time to actually do the work well.
Our story
Founded in 2011, kept deliberately small.
Elena Marquez started Cedar & Stone after a decade listing homes on Austin’s west side — tired of watching clients get handed off to whoever was free.
So she built the opposite: a firm that caps how many clients it takes at once, so a senior broker stays on your deal from the first call to the last signature. Fewer clients, more attention, better outcomes. Thirteen years on, most of our business still comes from people we’ve worked with before — and the people they send us.
What we stand for
Three things we don't compromise on
Straight answers
We’ll tell you when a home is wrong for you, or when your price is too high. Honesty beats a quick deal.
Local judgment
We’ve walked these streets for years. We know which blocks flood, which schools fit, which comps actually count.
Calm process
Buying or selling is stressful enough. We keep the timeline clear and handle the parts that keep you up at night.
The team
Three senior agents. No hand-offs.
